Thank you for your interest in Gardner-Webb University's Spring Symposium. We are excited about this semester's program and hope you find room in your schedule to attend the events we have planned.
A series of papers, academic presentations, and panel discussions will be offered each afternoon on March 7, 8, and 9. Members of the GWU faculty have volunteered to lead these events with the hope of jump starting an important conversation among students and faculty--namely, that all kowledge is interrelated. See below for details about these exciting panels.
The centerpiece of our Symposium is the staged production of Euripides' play MEDEA produced by Gardner-Webb University Theater in the Department of Communication Studies. The play opens on 2 March and runs nightly through 8th, excepting Sunday. Since much of our conversation will center around the action of this play, we encourage everyone who plans to attend the academic presentations and panel discussions to first see the play.
